Team Biography

At once fierce and friendly, Stanford Superfly is a community of athletes committed to their sport and to each other. Founded in the early 1990s, Superfly has been in the National Championship finals 13 times, with eight title wins in total. Most recently, Superfly won the National Championship in 2016, and received the spirit award at the 2017 National Championship. We focus on cultivating intensity, trust, and an appreciation for the magic of ultimate while enjoying the opportunity to compete with some of our best friends. The team’s favorite off-field pastimes include drinking boba and playing board games – which we take at least as seriously as our on-field play.
