Biography
Nathan began playing ultimate early in his high school career, going on to captain the team his junior and senior years. He won national championships at the YCC level with both the U-16 One Huck Wonders in 2012 and with the U-19 TriForce team in 2014, of which he was also a captain.
Nathan has been a big contributor since his first year on Darkside. He has made countless big plays, in big games, against the best players of the men’s division. During his four years on the team, he’s established himself as a defensive stalwart and has solidified himself as one of the men’s division’s elite defenders.
Nathan is a captain of Darkside this year and has been a phenomenal leader on and off the field. He adeptly leads both with his voice and by example. He has a tremendous work ethic and is a great role model not only for young players in our program, but also for youth players he has coached in both the high school and youth club settings. For these reasons, Darkside is honored to nominate Nathan Kwon for the 2018 Callahan Award.
