Team Biography
From its modest beginnings in the early 1980s, Virginia women’s ultimate has grown in size, strength and depth to become the nationally competitive team it is today. In 2012, Hydra won the Atlantic Coast Regional Championship for the first time in 10 years and has continued to strive for continuous growth ever since. The upward motion Hydra has experienced over the last decade results from building a program rather than celebrating momentary success. This team values every player, we are there for each other through the wins and the losses, and focuses on the process and not the outcome. We take pride in our culture. Wahoowa!
