After each game at the Division III College Championships, teams are asked to rate their opponent’s spirit on a scale of one to five in a number of categories, including rules knowledge, fouls, communication and more. The scores are averaged, and the team in the men’s and women’s divisions with the highest average scores are awarded the Team Spirit Awards.
At the D-III Championships in Lexington, Ky., the Team Spirit Awards were presented to John Brown Ironfist (men’s) and Georgia College Lynx Rufus (women’s). Congratulations to both teams, and thank you for displaying what our sport is all about!
