After each game at the College Championships, teams were asked to rate their opponent’s spirit on a scale of one to four in a number of categories, including rules knowledge, fouls, communication and more. The scores were averaged, and the team in the men’s and women’s divisions with the highest average score was awarded the Team Spirit Award.
At the 2018 College Championships in Milwaukee, Wis., the Team Spirit Awards were presented to Stanford University Bloodthirsty (men’s) and Carleton College Syzygy (women’s). Congratulations to both teams, and thank you for displaying what our sport is all about, even at the highest levels of competition.
