The Western Women’s Ultimate program (Chaos) began in 1999, and has since grown and started a developmental program (Nyx) in 2014. This is the third year Chaos has attended Nationals (previously in 2014 and 2016). Chaos embodies love, trust and grit both on and off the field, striving to support our teammates and to form strong relationships to our community. We value inclusion and are pushing the conversation about race, intersectionality, and diversity in ultimate. Two years ago, we traveled to North Carolina in solidarity with communities working to oppose House Bill #2. This year, we are headed to Wisconsin with the intention of addressing inclusion and identity, which is especially relevant given our current political climate. We hope that others will join us in continuing to challenge the privilege in our sport.
