D-I Men College Championships

2024

Location

Madison, WI

Date

May 24-27

Winner

Brown

Brown reclaims the crown for the first time since 2019. With the fourth title in school history, it moves Brownian Motion to T-3rd in men’s division titles. Led by coaches James Smart, Jonathan Stout, Nate Taylor, Brown struggled in pool play, dropping to No. 1 seed and back-to-back-to-back champs North Carolina and a Universe point loss to Oregon State. Wins over Texas and Alabama-Huntsville put them in the bracket where they beat No. 20 seed Michigan. A win over No. 2 seed Georgia in quarters and a victory over No. 4 seed Colorado landed them into the final against No. 5 seed Cal Poly-SLO. A strong performance by Callahan finalist and captain Jacques Nissen (two goals, six assists) and four goals from Cal Nightingale was too much as Brown etched its name in history for the fourth time in Madison.
