Burlington, WA

Date

May 16-18

Winner

Wesleyan

After five appearances at College Champs and a loss in the finals in ‘21, Portland finally got its crown in Milwaukee. Led by coaches Rebecca Perston, Daniel Young and Elise Hollowell, UProar got the No. 1 seed and didn’t look back, sweeping through pool play with a +30 point differential over Mount Holyoke, Grinnell and Wesleyan. An early No. 1 vs No. 2 match-up with quarters went in Portland’s way, defeating Union (TN). UProar continued to roll through St. Olaf in semis. Led by captains Julianna Galian and Mallori Boddy, the Northwest squad endured a mid-finals thunderstorm break and fended off a late surge from Carleton College-Eclipse. In a historic 13-point game (four goals, nine assists) from Julianna Galian, the title for the D-III women’s division goes to Portland in 2024.
