Team Biography
UMass Men’s Ultimate Frisbee (ZooDisc) is a group of some fun-loving, silly, student athletes who are led by their courageous and patient coaches Russell Wallack and Tiina Booth. In 2014, ZooDisc qualified for Nationals for the first time in 27 years and since has shown that they are a force both in New England and nationally, qualifying for Nationals every year since then and winning a couple games each season. In addition to playing some pretty high-level ultimate, the members of ZooDisc enjoy many other hobbies, including board and electronic games (you name it, we got it), LARPing and chest day at the gym. Our program works to develop each player to be the best they can be not only athletically, but also by building interpersonal relationships and time-management skills. We are a dedicated group that knows how to have a good time while competing to the best of our ability, and we hope you will not be too threatened by our passion.
